As many of you know, we have partnered with Playworks this year to help improve our recess. If you DO NOT want your child to participate, please complete the following form and they will not be included in the survey. Thanks. https://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5mQb0bL0ORovn5Y

Cold, flu, and other viruses’ season is upon us. The cold has been making students sicker than COVID and Influenza. Remember, good hand washing is the best way to prevent getting sick.
Is it a Cold? Flu? Another virus? or COVID? ... it doesn't matter! Please stay home!
Cold and allergy symptoms can be indistinguishable from COVID like symptoms. Please continue to keep your student home when they are ill with any symptoms. All individuals experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should stay home and test. DOH What to do if a Person is Symptomatic Flowchart.
If your student suffers from chronic seasonal allergies or asthma, etc. a note from your provider must be on file in the health room that confirms this condition in order for them not to be sent home when mild symptoms occur.
COVID Communication
The Department of Health (DOH) requires schools to inform families and students about COVID-19 case numbers and potential outbreaks. Last week, there were no confirmed cases at our school. The accuracy of our data depends on self-reporting. Thank you for continuing to let the school know if your child tests positive for COVID-19. To view additional information, including school and district trends visit the District’s COVID-19 data dashboard. The dashboard is updated weekly on Monday evenings.
If your child is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 keep them home and test for COVID-19. Families can order free COVID-19 tests from the state. Together, we can keep our schools healthy and safe.

REMINDER - Women in STEM Tutoring
Two years ago, the Women in STEM Club from Woodinville High School started an online tutoring program to support kids through the difficult learning environment created by the pandemic. Parents could sign up their kids for free online tutoring in nearly every subject, and both the tutors and students loved being able to socialize safely while also getting ahead in school. This year, by popular demand, they are rebooting the program! It will still be virtual, with the sessions being held on Zoom as often as you'd like. If you'd like to sign your child up, please fill out the Google Form, and feel free to email them at wise.club.whs.tutoring@gmail.com if you have any questions!
REMINDER: Change in After School Plans
Have your child's regular after school plans changed since the first day of school or since you last filled out the transportation form? If yes, please update their transportation plans by filling out the below form so we have the most current information in the office. This will help us especially for emergencies and when we have substitutes.
Please use this link to complete the form.
**Without a note, your child will be sent home the usual way.**
