Volunteer/Visitor Sign In

We are working hard to make East Ridge an exceptional and safe school for your child and you. Please observe the following:

  • You must complete the district background check process annually, prior to volunteering at East Ridge.
  • Sign in at the office and wear a badge any time you are on campus during office hours. This includes before and after school. Return the badge and sign out.
  • Younger siblings are not able to accompany volunteers at this time.
  • Please refrain from using your cell phone on campus.

COVID Communication

The Department of Health (DOH) requires schools to inform families andCOVID virus students about COVID-19 case numbers and potential outbreaks. East Ridge will inform our community of the number of confirmed cases each week in this newsletter. Separate notifications to classrooms or to the school will no longer occur with each individual case. To view additional information, including school and district trends visit the District’s COVID-19 data dashboard. The dashboard is updated weekly on Monday evenings.

If your child is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 keep them home and test for COVID-19. Please refer to this flowchart. Families can order free COVID-19 tests from the state. The accuracy of our data depends on self-reporting. Please let our school know if your child tests positive for COVID-19. Together, we can keep our schools healthy and safe.
